About This Project

Power Delivery Associates (PDA), are utility engineers specializing in designing power distribution and broadband / fiber optics systems. PDA was established in 1992, by a team of utility professionals that specialize in excellence, integrity and collaboration focused on supporting your vital electric power infrastructure.

Project Objectives

Power Delivery Associates (pda) required marketing collateral print ads to run in their industry specific magazines. The ad designs needed to reflect their specialized skills in designing power distribution and broadband / fiber optics systems. Power Delivery Associates are a group of companies sharing one brand and one leadership team, enhancing the way you manage one of your most valuable assets, your extensive power infrastructure.

The Vision

The vision for the ad designs was to use their existing logo and brand image to design modern ads that are bold and attract customers within the utility professional and power industry. Each design clearly communicates the services and capabilities PDA offers and the design stands out in the crowd of utility professionals by providing key information related to the power distribution and broadband / fiber optics industry. The creation of an innovative design with information that is easily accessible, has well organized content, and have visual impact capable of attracting visitors and business is key to its success. An overall successful design is about communicating and providing the companies experience and knowledge, not just making things look attractive.

My Role

I worked directly with the client to understand their business objectives and marketing goals and applied this to the design of the Power Delivery Associates (pda) marketing collateral ads. As Creative Designer I created each ad design and ensured all files were design with consistent typography, color palette, logo and content to communicate the PDA brand and services to it’s prospective customers. By effectively implementing pda’s business objectives they are able to focus on creating innovative solutions with clear benefits for the vital importance of the power distribution and broadband / fiber optics industry.

Responsibility Overview

Creation of multiple print ads.

Creation of all graphics for the website including the following:

• Overall information & design layouts
• Designed and ensured each ad is Hires and print ready

– Ensure budgets, deadlines, etc. are complete, accurate and follow the project plan and objectives.

– Facilitate creative reviews for client approval.

– Successfully create Power Delivery Associates (pda) marketing collateral print ads.
