About This Project

Power Delivery Associates (PDA), are utility engineers specializing in designing power distribution and broadband / fiber optics systems. PDA was established in 1992, by a team of utility professionals that specialize in excellence, integrity and collaboration focused on supporting your vital electric power infrastructure.

Project Objectives

Power Delivery Associates (pda) required a digital branding design for a new website and marketing collateral. This was accomplished with the creation of a modern website with a thoughtful design and user experience that reflects their specialized skills in designing power distribution and broadband / fiber optics systems. Power Delivery Associates is a group of companies sharing one brand and one leadership team, enhancing the way you manage one of your most valuable assets, your extensive power infrastructure.

The Vision

The goal for the pda website was to ensure the digital brand has a strong, positive meaning and design reflecting the group of companies that share the one brand to enhance the management of the extensive power infrastructure in the eastern U.S.. The website design and architecture must implement the business objectives by providing key information related to the power distribution and broadband / fiber optics industry. The creation of an innovative design with information that is easily accessible, easy to use, have well organized content, and have visual impact capable of attracting visitors and business is key to its success. An overall successful design is about communicating and providing a compelling user experience, not just making things look attractive.

My Role

I worked directly with the client to understand their business objectives and marketing goals and applied this to the design and development of the Power Delivery Associates (pda) website and marketing collateral. As the Information Architect and Creative Designer I created the navigational flow and overall organization of the functional website structure. I designed and implemented the visual and functional interface design for the website while integrating the newest interactive technologies available. I designed and developed all page layouts for the website with HTML5, CSS3 and WordPress Shortcodes. By effectively implementing pda’s business objectives they are able to focus on creating innovative solutions with clear benefits for the vital importance of the power distribution and broadband / fiber optics industry.

Responsibility Overview

Creation of Digital Brand and Website.

Creation of all graphics for the website including the following:

• Overall web site information flow & structure
• Design the creative vision into graphical screen designs and all graphical interface elements
• Develop the page layouts and design with HTML – CSS and WordPress Shortcodes

– Ensure budgets, deadlines, etc. are complete, accurate and follow the project plan and objectives.

– Facilitate creative reviews for client approval.

– Successfully create Power Delivery Associates (pda) digital brand and online presence.
